As we sadly farewell our Chatswood and Zetland hygienist Rachel Waldron, we are excited to welcome our new hygienist Cathy Liang to the Chatswood team. As a mum, she understands how busy the family life can be, let alone trying to maintain your oral care along with a work life balance. She understands that her patient’s time is limited, and therefore wants to offer them the best care she can!
She started her career in dental care through first obtaining a Certificate III in dental assisting at Open Colleges, before deciding to continue her education at the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy. Like our other hygienist Nicole Brierley, who can do active treatment such as fillings and fissure sealants on children, Cathy degree allows her to do the same active treatment on adults of fillings, fissure sealants, extractions and pulpotomy’s.
Prior to joining the About Smiles Chatswood team, she worked as a Dental Nurse for Bupa Dental and Chatswood Orthodontics. She is excited to grow and work here at her new Chatswood home, a practice that is not only committed to investing in the best oral care which can be provided to a patient, but is also as committed to their patient’s confidence to be reflected in their smile.
